BJJ Lab Winterthur is the second gym in the BJJ Lab team and opened in 2025. It sits on Lagerhausstrasse 6b, about three minutes on foot from the main train station. The mat space runs over 100 square meters, which is enough room to train without bumping into the next pair.

The head coach is a brown belt with about a decade on the mats and a kickboxing background before that. Classes are split into a five week basics course for total beginners, regular Fundamentals in Gi and No-Gi, an Advanced class, and two kids groups for ages 3 to 6 and 7 to 10.

A free trial week lets new people try the room before signing up. The gym is small and the membership is still building, so the atmosphere is closer to a club than a chain academy.
